• 1. How do I transfer my domain to IncrediHost?

  ANSWER :  In order to transfer your domain to us, you need to first unlock the domain from Domain control panel and provide the administrative details and EPP code we shall able to initiate the transfer.

• 2. What is EEP code and from where do I get this ?

  ANSWER :  EPP code is nothing but your domain authorization code which is used for confirmation of transfer request. You will get this code in DNS management panel or you need to contact your registrar or service provider

• 3. I do not know who is my registrar? How do I proceed for transfer?

  ANSWER :  Even if you don’t know who is your current registrar or domain service provider you can check it by performing whois.net search. You will get all the detail of your registrar.

• 4. Will there be any downtime occurred during transferring the domain?

  ANSWER :  Yes, during the transfer process there could be downtime possible . Once the domain is transferred you may wish to change the DNS on your domain to point to our name servers. If you do change your DNS servers, this can introduce downtime of up to 24 hours depening on TTL.
